I was driving home from an early morning photo shoot, and I began thinking about the lessons I have learned just this week. I didn’t learn all of them while I was holding my camera (although you might be surprised at the ones that came from shooting photos), but since I feel like being a photographer has taught me to see the world differently, I feel like all of this applies.
-Love, joy and patience are fruit that need to be freely offered in EVERY situation.
-Give, especially when it’s inconvenient.
-Slow down… even just a little bit. You’ll see everything a little more clearly.
-Laugh when things get absurd. It will keep life in perspective.
-An hour of relaxation is necessary.
-Everyone starts somewhere. If you feel superior, go back and look at where you started.
-Be yourself. Anything else would be absurd, and then you’d have to laugh, at which point, you (hopefully) would be being yourself.
-Look for the lessons. God wants to teach you something this week.
Happy Monday and many blessings!
